Les cin\u00e9philes \u00e9taient pr\u00eats \u00e0 explorer le style de cin\u00e9ma\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.24heures.ca\/2022\/08\/04\/ca-veut-dire-quoi-etre-queer-on-a-demande-a-7-personnalites-lgbtq\">queer<\/a> camp<\/em>\u00a0par le biais d&rsquo;une <a href=\"https:\/\/cinematek.be\/2025-02-20-19-00\/petite-histoire-du-camp-dans-le-cinema-queer\">conf\u00e9rence organis\u00e9e dans le cadre du programme \u00ab\u00a0Rendez-vous Our story\u00a0\u00bb<\/a>. Informative et accessible a un public large, cette session a fait d\u00e9couvrir un peu le cin\u00e9ma\u00a0<em>queer<\/em>\u00a0et le style\u00a0<em>camp<\/em>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le cin\u00e9ma\u00a0<em>queer\u00a0<\/em>est \u00e0 la fois un espace d&rsquo;\u00e9mancipation, parce que les gens peuvent faire des films, et un instrument de discrimination, parce qu&rsquo;il n&rsquo;y a pas d&rsquo;endroit o\u00f9 les diffuser.\u00a0La fa\u00e7on dont ce cin\u00e9ma vit dans la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tait \u00e9galement l&rsquo;un des th\u00e8mes de la conf\u00e9rence \u00e0 laquelle nous avons assist\u00e9 \u00e0 la Cin\u00e9math\u00e8que.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pendant environ 1h20, madame Iris Lafon, programmatrice du Rendez-vous<em>\u00a0Our Story<\/em>, nous a enchant\u00e9s avec sa pr\u00e9sentation. La conf\u00e9rence affichait complet et plusieurs personnes faisaient la queue dans l&rsquo;espoir que quelqu&rsquo;un l&rsquo;ait manqu\u00e9e pour prendre leur place.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le public \u00e9tait compos\u00e9 de personnes d&rsquo;\u00e2ges divers, <em>queer<\/em> et non <em>queer<\/em>, mais surtout des gens qui aiment le cin\u00e9ma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Une conf\u00e9rence ludique et bon esprit&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Diff\u00e9rents th\u00e8mes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 abord\u00e9s, le cin\u00e9ma <em>queer<\/em> en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral et de la pr\u00e9dominance du style\u00a0<em>queer camp<\/em> dans le cin\u00e9ma \u00e0 partir des ann\u00e9es 60.\u00a0 Les personnes pr\u00e9sentes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9actives en montrant leur enthousiasme, en laissant \u00e9chapper quelques rires de temps en temps. Prise le 20 f\u00e9vrier 2025 (Photo mobile).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Comme dans la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, dans le cin\u00e9ma&nbsp;<em>queer<\/em>&nbsp;aussi, l&rsquo;homme blanc occidental a une plus grande place de repr\u00e9sentation que les femmes lesbiennes, non blanches et non occidentales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00ab&nbsp;Se camper&nbsp;\u00bb<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mais finalement qu&rsquo;est-ce que le style&nbsp;<em>camp<\/em>&nbsp;?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Camp: Notes on Film - Video Essay\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xDFiuhIjIko?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le&nbsp;<em>camp<\/em>, terme anglais tir\u00e9 du fran\u00e7ais \u00ab&nbsp;se camper&nbsp;\u00bb que \u00e7a veut dire prendre la pose, est une des notions plus discut\u00e9es de la <em>queer<\/em>&nbsp;<em>theory<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ce style a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 trouver sa place dans l&rsquo;aristocratie anglaise, o\u00f9 les v\u00eatements et les mani\u00e8res gestuelles associ\u00e9s \u00e0 l&rsquo;image d&rsquo;Oscar Wilde, par exemple, sont consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme ses pr\u00e9mices dans ce style contemporain.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-plain has-black-color has-white-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-8cfe32a3670ddb35d9eb2dc49d4ccee3 is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Le camp est une fa\u00e7on de voir le monde et une c\u00e9l\u00e9bration de la diff\u00e9rence.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tout ce qui est camp est artificiel et extravagante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ces caract\u00e9ristiques principales sont l\u2019esth\u00e9tique exag\u00e9r\u00e9e et kitsch, performance th\u00e9\u00e2tral exub\u00e9rante, ironie, absurde, humour que se moque des conventions de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 h\u00e9t\u00e9ronormative, exag\u00e9rer la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 que r\u00e9\u00e9jecte le <em>queer<\/em> (principalement la religion et la famille), subversion des normes de genre et de la sexualit\u00e9, r\u00e9f\u00e9rences de la pop culture et du cin\u00e9ma classique.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le&nbsp;<em>camp<\/em>&nbsp;a r\u00e9cemment \u00e9t\u00e9 le th\u00e8me du MET Gala 2019 (la plus grande soir\u00e9e de mode que&nbsp;prend place chaque ann\u00e9e au M\u00e9tropolitain Museum of Art de New York).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Lady Gaga Met Gala 2019 Transformation\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/8WuC-kUe6c0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dans le cin\u00e9ma, les exemples embl\u00e9matiques sont le film \u00ab&nbsp;The Rocky Horror Picture Show&nbsp;\u00bb (1975) de Jim Sharman et les films du cin\u00e9aste Pedro Almod\u00f3var d\u2019une fa\u00e7on g\u00e9n\u00e9rale.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En Belgique, ce style est \u00e9galement repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 dans les films \u00ab&nbsp;Pink Ulysses&nbsp;\u00bb de Eric de Kuyper (1990) et \u00ab&nbsp;Saute ma ville de Chantal Akerman.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Madame Iris Lafon, recommande \u00e0 nos lecteurs quelques films r\u00e9cents pour leur faire d\u00e9couvrir le&nbsp;<em>camp&nbsp;<\/em>: un film&nbsp;<em>mainstream<\/em>&nbsp;\u00ab&nbsp;Love Lies Bledding&nbsp;\u00bb de Rosa Glass (2024)&nbsp;; Prise le 20 f\u00e9vrier 2025 (Photo mobile).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Le partage est la r\u00e9sistance<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il est important que le cin\u00e9ma&nbsp;<em>queer<\/em>&nbsp;existe dans un but d&rsquo;archivage, par exemple pour que les gens puissent voir comment un couple gay \u00e9tait repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 dans les ann\u00e9es 1960, mais aussi dans un souci de repr\u00e9sentativit\u00e9. Plus le&nbsp;<em>queer<\/em>&nbsp;est accessible, plus les gens peuvent se rendre compte qu\u2019ils sont&nbsp;<em>queer&nbsp;<\/em>et \u00e7a devient plus simple s\u2019assumer.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le cin\u00e9ma&nbsp;<em>queer<\/em>&nbsp;est fait pour le&nbsp;<em>queer<\/em>&nbsp;mais aussi pour \u00eatre partag\u00e9. La plupart du temps le cin\u00e9ma&nbsp;<em>queer<\/em>&nbsp;on le trouve de la mani\u00e8re pirate car les films sont souvent censur\u00e9s ou les gens ne veulent pas les montr\u00e9s.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sur la sc\u00e8ne belge, le festival \u00ab&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/pinkscreens.org\/en\/pink-screens\">Pink Screens<\/a>&nbsp;\u00bb est tr\u00e8s important pour la communaut\u00e9&nbsp;<em>queer<\/em>&nbsp;et pour la faire conna\u00eetre. En plus du festival, il y a maintenant des projections mensuelles de cin\u00e9ma&nbsp;<em>queer<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La chose la plus importante est de parler du cin\u00e9ma queer, d&rsquo;\u00e9crire des articles, de regarder des films, d&rsquo;organiser des festivals &#8230;.
